Performance Indicator Results for FACS Niagara

Safety. Well Being. Permanence. How are we doing? How can we get better?

Family and Children’s Services Niagara is committed to the care and safety of Niagara’s children, youth and families; and to continuous quality improvement. We are pleased to be a part of the Province’s “Performance Indicator” project.

Performance Indicators are tools that help child welfare agencies measure how well we are doing with regard to the particular services and outcomes that we are trying to achieve for the children and families we serve. These results will assist us in understanding where we are doing well, and how we can improve our services to achieve even better outcomes for children, youth, families and the community.

Performance Indicators also provide an important and consistent framework for agencies to share their results with the community. To date, five of the eventual 26 Performance Indicators have been approved by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services for release to the public.
